I bought this toy because my one year old loves spongebob and always dances when the theme song comes on TV. I do not let him play with this since he is too young. But I play it for him out of reach and he dances and laughs and laughs. You definitely need to have a sense of humor about spongebob to be able to tolerate this toy or any talking spongebob toy for that matter. It can be annoying, but the joy that my son gets out of watching and listening to this is worth it. By the way, if you hit the button while it is going, it will stop.

I dropped it once from the couch to the carpet, and it won't dance anymore. It was fun, but not durable enough for kids.

This is a really cute toy! It isnt really educational, and i have not had a chance to see how durable it is, because i have never dropped it or anything... but it is so cute!
